Ross Wilken, a commercial property owner in Ashkum, Illinois, partnered with Artisun Solar to turn rooftop space into a long-term energy asset. Focused on reducing operating costs and maximizing the property’s financial performance, Ross took advantage of USDA REAP funding to install a high-efficiency rooftop solar system tailored to the building’s energy profile.
Artisun Solar designed and installed a 253.8 kW DC system with a 169.2 kW AC output, engineered to meet Ameren Illinois interconnection requirements. The system was backed by structural certification, detailed utility coordination, and industry-standard warranties, ensuring performance and reliability for years to come.
