With operations that depend on reliable power, the company wanted to reduce its electricity costs while continuing to support the evolving needs of its facility, including the addition of EV chargers.

Jenne Distributors partnered with Artisun Solar to develop a rooftop solar system that could work within the complexity of the facility’s internal microgrid without disrupting operations or requiring downtime. 

The 2,140-panel, 877 kW (DC) array is expected to offset 99% of the facility’s energy needs and save $94,941 in utility costs annually. 

Over the system’s projected 40-year lifetime, Jenne Distributors is expected to save $4,232,027 in utility costs while offsetting 18,620.3 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.
