Paramount Apparel International

Paramount Apparel International (PAI Inc.) has been producing hats, caps, and other apparel since 1929. The company saw significant growth in the golf market through partnerships with the PGA of America, PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, United States Golf Association, and American Junior Golf Association. PAI Inc. later rebranded in 2023 as Imperial.

As energy rates continued to climb, PAI Inc. sought out a solution that would control these costs. And Artisun Solar was the commercial solar partner that fit their needs.

Through the partnership, Artisun Solar designed two custom rooftop solar systems at facilities in Winona, MO, and Ellington, MO. The systems totaled 472 panels for 175 kW (DC).

Together, solar provides more than $18,000 in annual energy savings with lifetime projects surpassing $800,000. With a projected 40-year system lifespan, solar gives Imperial a practical way to reduce operating costs, gain more control over future energy expenses, and keep more resources focused on growing the business.
