As Missouri’s premier dealership for new and used boats, Dri-Port Marine is known for its full marine center with a state-of-the-art showroom, service team, storage and parts department, and brokerage service. With business growing at its newest facility in O’Fallon, Missouri, Dri-Port Marine searched for solutions to manage their high energy overhead.

Artisun Solar designed a custom-engineered solar system that was a winning bid. The 105-panel (40 kW DC) rooftop solar installation offsets 80% of the facility’s energy needs with an annual energy savings of roughly $5,000.

Thanks to incentives including the federal solar tax credit (ITC), depreciation, and an Ameren solar rebate, the system paid for itself within the first 4 years. The result is a lifetime savings that surpasses $200,000.
