Controlled Environmental Warehousing

Flint Hills Beverage made a smart move by adding rooftop solar to its Controlled Environmental Warehousing facility in Osage City, Kansas. This system helps the team lock in long-term energy savings while putting underused rooftop space to work.

Artisun Solar designed and installed a 125 kW DC system (83.3 kW AC output), using high-efficiency Talesun modules and SMA inverters. Built to deliver for the next 30+ years. The system was engineered to meet all local code and seismic standards, and the project qualified for USDA REAP and federal tax incentives, making the return on investment even stronger.
