Project Update: Seyer Industries’ 1.85MW System Completed

Seyer Industries recently chose Artisun Solar to design and install a new 1.85MW (mega-watt) solar system at its sprawling 220,000 square-foot facility outside of St. Louis, Missouri. An international supplier of complex aerospace products, Seyer saw the two main benefits of transitioning to solar before making the switch: significant, short and long-term energy savings and environmental sustainability. The installation of new solar arrays at its 66 Patmos location marks the completion of the company’s transition to solar energy at three different locations.

Designed and constructed by Artisun, the solar arrays are projected to deliver over $6 million in lifetime savings for the company, with more than $115,000 saved within the first year. The project will offset 44,000 metric tons of carbon emissions over the next three decades; the equivalent nearly 110,000,000 miles being taken off the road by an average car.

American businesses are facing skyrocketing energy costs on top of mounting inflationary pressures. But companies like Seyer have stabilized costs now while investing in their companies for decades to come. To learn more about how solar could benefit your business, contact us today.
