Ultimate Air

Ultimate Air in Scott City, Missouri, operates a trampoline park, an entertainment facility that runs high-intensity electricity loads. Trampoline parks rely on continuous overhead lighting across large open floor plans, commercial HVAC systems managing air quality and temperature for hundreds of active guests, and ventilation equipment that runs without interruption to maintain safe indoor air circulation. Extended operating hours, including evenings and weekends when utility demand charges are highest, mean the electricity bill is one of the largest fixed costs on the income statement.

Artisun Solar designed and installed a 210-panel rooftop solar array, saving nearly $9,000 annually in electricity costs. Over the life of the system, total projected electricity savings reach $388,891, turning a monthly operating expense into a long-term capital asset.

The project qualified for several incentives, all of which were built into the design and financial analysis from day one. That combination of incentives produced a payback period of just 1.2 years.
