Janie’s Mill, an artisan flour mill in Ashkum, Illinois, partnered with Artisun Solar to transform its rooftop into a long-term energy asset. Committed to sustainable operations and reducing overhead, Janie’s Mill leveraged USDA grant funding to install a high-efficiency solar system tailored to its energy needs.

Artisun Solar designed and installed a 253.8 kW DC system with a 169.2 kW AC output, engineered to meet Ameren Illinois interconnection requirements. The system includes structural certification, utility coordination, and industry-standard warranties—ensuring long-term performance, reliability, and return on investment.
