To gain greater control over rising electricity costs and strengthen its long-term operating efficiency, the company partnered with Artisun Solar to invest in on-site solar power.
Artisun Solar designed and installed a 150.1 kW DC solar energy system featuring 365 panels, helping Preston Refrigeration reduce its dependence on utility power while lowering ongoing operating expenses.
The system is projected to generate $18,157 in first-year energy savings and more than $813,000 in lifetime savings, creating lasting financial value for the business. It is also expected to offset approximately 3,579 metric tons of CO₂ emissions over its lifetime, supporting a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
