Blue Ribbon Vending

Blue Ribbon Vending operates a commercial facility in Moberly, Missouri, where electricity is a fixed and unavoidable cost of business. Refrigerated vending machines, lighting, climate control, and daily operations require consistent, high-volume power. A rooftop solar installation offered a direct path to predictable energy expenses and a measurable return on capital invested.

Artisun Solar designed and installed a 270-panel rooftop solar array at the Blue Ribbon Vending facility in Moberly, MO. The system carries a rated capacity of 99.99 kW (DC) with an AC output of 72.0 kW.

In the first year alone, the system is projected to deliver $12,774 in electricity savings. Over the life of the system, those annual reductions accumulate to a projected $557,005 in total savings.

The project was structured to take full advantage of available incentives which reduced the net cost of the investment significantly and drove the payback period down to approximately one year.
