Gro Alliance

Gro Alliance in Cuba City, Wisconsin partnered with Artisun Solar to install a 1,303-panel rooftop solar system. The 535 kW (DC) solar array generates clean electricity on-site, allowing the organization to produce its own power rather than purchasing it all from Cuba City Light and Water.

The financial benefits are clear and immediate. Gro Alliance will save $33,511 on electricity in the first year alone, with total savings exceeding $1.4 million over the system’s lifetime. With a payback period of less than one year, the investment pays for itself almost immediately.

The environmental impact is substantial. The system will offset 10,558.7 metric tons of CO₂ emissions over its life.

The project was made possible through the Federal Solar Tax Credit, USDA Grant, and state and federal depreciation benefits. For Gro Alliance, going solar means predictable energy costs and significant long-term savings.
