Medic One Gets Leaner and Greener With a New Solar Array System

During an emergency, wasting time is not a luxury someone in danger has, especially if they’re faced with a life or death situation. Medic One is a company that’s built its business around the promise that it can deliver significantly faster Advanced Life Support care and hospital transportation than conventional ambulances. According to its website, calling Medic One directly can save someone as much as four minutes during a crisis. Earlier this year, the company installed a large new solar array system and, in the process, made a strategic business decision that will save an estimated $930,000 in energy costs over the next three decades.

Over 500 ZNShine 455 Watt solar panels and seven Fronius SYMO inverters were used for the project, which are now installed on the roof of Medic One’s location in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The new solar array is projected to produce an impressive 265,000 kWh of energy and save $21,000 during its first year. In addition to huge financial savings, Medic One’s choice to pivot to solar energy will also deliver significant environmental impacts, with 5,261 metric tons of CO2 emissions estimated to be offset and 13,058,041 car-driven miles saved throughout the life of the system.

Artisun Solar is proud to help Medic One serve its customers, financial health, and commitment to the environment.
