Taking advantage of the Investment Tax Credit for Solar before it is slashed and other solar programs available to commercial customers, Meredith Recycling contracted with Artisun Solar for a turn-key installation of two solar arrays, one to power their scale house and the other their main sorting facility. When more energy is needed, it comes from Evergy, formerly KCP&L. When excess is generated, the business receives credit.
