Nighthawk Custom is an American firearm company based in Berryville, Arkansas. Established in 2004, Nighthawk was formed to create the world’s finest custom 1911 pistols. At Nighthawk Custom, each pistol is built from start to finish by a single gunsmith, which leads to their slogan and philosophy: “One Gun, One Gunsmith.”
In an effort to battle ever-increasing energy costs, Nighthawk Custom and Artisun Solar convened in the summer of 2022 to find a solar solution that will not only eliminate the majority of their energy costs but hedge against inevitable future energy rate increases.
Artisun Solar installed a turnkey 430 kW solar system in 2023, which will produce an estimated 480,000 kWh in the first year alone. Nighthawk Custom’s new solar arrays will generate a projected savings of $35,000 or more in YR 1.
By taking advantage of current tax credit & grant opportunities, Nighthawk Customs solar project will pay for itself in under 2 years.
